The Set Me Free Project Presents “Comedy for Change” Annual Fundraiser

Laugh your “cash” off at Comedy for Change, The Set Me Free Project’s (setmefreeproject.net) annual fundraiser, on Thursday, March 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. at A View on State (13467 State St.). The funds raised at this event support the organization’s efforts throughout the entire year. Attendees will enjoy a fun evening with food and drinks, a live and silent auction, and a featured comedian! The event is family friendly and all ages are welcome.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • $35 for a single ticket
  • $60 for a double ticket
  • $300 for a whole table (seats 10 people; $30 per person)

The Set Me Free Project brings prevention education to youth and families to stop trafficking before it starts. They have a curriculum for 3rd–12th graders, as well as a curriculum for parents, educators, community members, and businesses. Their education is filled with activities and allows for plenty of questions and conversation. The Set Me Free Project holds their Comedy for Change event every year in order to give the people that they work with an opportunity to sit back and relax for a night of fun and laughs!
