The Rose Theater Presents “Up & Away” March 12 – April 4

Join the Fogg Family on a multisensory journey through the sky in your very own hot air balloon with The Rose Theater’s (rosetheater.org) production of Up & Away! Featuring puppetry, live music, and interactive play, this flight is limited to a small group of young balloonists and their adult sidekicks. Guided one-on-one by members of the Fogg Family, children and their families will experience the wonder of the world above the clouds.

Up & Away is an immersive production designed specifically with young audiences on the autism spectrum in mind, commissioned by Lincoln Center and created by Trusty Sidekick Theater Company. Seating is extremely limited for this highly interactive, personalized performance, which The New York Times hailed as “a compassionate embrace of human variety.” The show will run from March 12 – April 4 and last approximately 60 minutes. Visit rosetheater.org/shows/up-away for a full calendar of show dates and times, as well as ticket information.

The Rose Theater remains dedicated to its mission of inspiring young people and their families to discover the magic of theater, to find their voices, and enrich their communities. Central to this mission has always been the understanding that theater has the power to transform the community by helping audiences better understand a variety of viewpoints and building empathy for others.
