The Rose Theater Celebrates 70 Years, Announces 2019-20 Season

The Rose Theater (www.rosetheater.org) is celebrating 70 years in Omaha with a season that blends audience favorites with world premieres and celebrity appearances, ultimately paying tribute to The Rose’s founder Emmy Gifford and her vision of revolutionary children’s theater for local families. Although Gifford passed away in 1997, her vision lives on in the work being done at The Rose. In the 2019-20 season, the theater’s Mainstage and First Stage productions will focus on stories that inspire young people to find their own voice, their own inner strength and their own sense of self.
