Community is at the heart of everything they do at United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska. While resources and programs are important, the lasting impact often comes from the relationships built along the way.
Through their programs, families find more than support—they find connection. Parents share experiences, offer encouragement and learn from one another. Individuals build friendships, gain confidence and discover they are part of a community that understands and celebrates them. These moments create opportunities for families to make memories together, strengthen bonds, and feel a sense of belonging that can be difficult to find elsewhere.
The same spirit of connection extends to our annual Hit the Links, Drive Against Disabilities golf event. More than a day on the course, the event brings together golfers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who believe in creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Every conversation, partnership and contribution helps build a stronger, more inclusive community—one where families know they are supported and never walking their journey alone.
