The holiday season has arrived, and Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) invites community members to join in spreading joy by donating new board games, clothing, gift cards and other small items to the Merry Mart. This initiative allows Stephen Center clients to select gifts for their children at no cost from these donations. Donations for adults are also welcomed, ensuring everyone at Stephen Center receives a gift on Christmas morning.
Specifically, Stephen Center is seeking donations of new board games, craft kits for both children and adults, travel coffee mugs, reusable water bottles, $10 gas station gift cards, movie theatre gift cards, sports equipment like baseballs, basketballs and footballs, as well as clothing items such as hoodies, sweatpants, leggings (in any size) and costume jewelry sets.
To participate, community members can drop off items at Stephen Center’s Donation Dock (2723 Q Street) or shop at home and ship directly to Stephen Center using the Merry Mart Wish List at www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1DXUP9R64TILY?ref_=wl_share. Donations are requested no later than December 13.
