Springfield Community Foundation Participates in MCF Matching Charitable Program

As an Affiliate Fund of Midlands Community Foundation (MCF), the Springfield Community Foundation is excited to again participate in MCF’s Matching Charitable Program ending January 4, 2016.

For years, MCF has provided donors a simple, powerful and highly personal approach to giving. As 2015 comes to a close, MCF looks forward to again helping Springfield donors accomplish their charitable objectives.

Under the Program, MCF will provide matching funds for NEW contributions made to existing and newly created Springfield Designated Funds, Field of Interest Funds, and Donor Advised Funds. Matching donations will be made on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to a limit of $5,000 per individual donor, and subject to a maximum of $100,000 of matching dollars being available in the aggregate for all MCF Funds. If more than $100,000 is contributed on an aggregate basis to all MCF Funds, the matching dollars will be pro-rated among such donors based on the total contributions made.

The existing Springfield Community Foundation Funds include: SCF General Fund, Splash Pads for Springfield Fund, Springfield Community Center Fund, Springfield Library Fund, Fleming Groesser Scholarship Fund, Kozy Korner Fund, Park Account Fund.
