Sarpy County Chamber Toastmasters Club is inviting guests to attend their October 7 meeting from 8-9 a.m. The group meets at the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce office which is located at 7775 Olson Dr., Suite 207, in the Shadow Lake Towne Center.
Toastmasters is an international organization with a mission to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Clubs are formed to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The Sarpy County Chamber Toastmasters Club was recently awarded the Distinguished Club designation for the fourth straight year. Distinguished clubs have reached a series of goals including education, membership, training and administrative duties.
