logo-whole-foods-logoThrough the end of 2015, the Whole Foods store located in the Regency neighborhood of Omaha will raise money to benefit the Home through its One Dime at a Time promotion. Past promotions for other organizations have raised between $3,000 and $5,000.

Whole Foods’ One Dime at a Time program provides an incentive to customers to eliminate single-use plastic bags and develop strong communities at the same time. At the register, customers will have the option to receive a refund of ten cents per bag as cash back off their receipt or they can choose to donate it to the Omaha Home for Boys as the selected charitable organization. All donations from the One Dime at a Time program will benefit OHB and its mission to Support and Strengthen Youth, Young Adults and Families throughout the community.

Serving youth in our community for 95 years, Omaha Home for Boys (www.omahahomeforboys.org) is a resource in the community, offering support and stability while working in collaboration with schools, service providers and other non-profit organizations to help youth and families to be successful.
