Open Door Mission (www.opendoormission.org) will be helping people in our community struggling to make ends meet during the holiday season. They need businesses, groups, individuals and families to host a drive or shop their Amazon Wish List. You can help by hosting a Turkey N Fixins Food drive for Thanksgiving, Project Santa Toy Drive for Christmas or Christmas Bells Drive.
Open Door Mission will provide more than 284,820 hot nutritious meals this holiday season. Needed food items include: turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, canned fruit, etc.
Open Door Mission’s Project Santa provides toys for kids in the community so that everyone will have gifts for Christmas. Suggested items include: toddler toys, dolls, Barbies, toy cars, Play-Doh sets, board games, sports balls and puzzles.
