Omaha Home for Boys to Kick Off 100-Year Anniversary with Roaring 20s Gala

Omaha Home for Boys (www.OmahaHomeForBoys.org) is celebrating a century of service by taking it back to the Roaring 20s when it all began! Grab your glad rags and join the Home as the organization kicks off its 100-Year Anniversary Celebration at a Roaring 20s Gala on November 8. The festive evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a VIP reception, speakeasy, and casino games. The fun continues with 1920s-themed cocktails during social hour, a photo booth, Model-T’s, dinner, and a silent auction packed with unique items and experiences. Live music by The Diamond Empire Band will top off the evening. Tickets start at $75 for young professionals and $125 for individuals. Twenties attire is suggested.

Proceeds from the Roaring 20s Gala will support the more than 300 at-risk youth who will seek the safety and guidance of Omaha Home for Boys this year alone.

Omaha Home for Boys was founded in 1920 and the Home’s commitment to serving at-risk youth, young adults and families continues today. The Home’s clients are empowered and inspired to lead independent, productive lives through programs focusing on education, employment, housing, basic life skills, and mental and behavioral health.
