Omaha Bridges (omabop.com) Out of Poverty proudly announces its first graduation ceremony of the year, taking place on Saturday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at CHI Health Center. This milestone event honors individuals who have completed transformative programs aimed at achieving economic stability and breaking the cycle of poverty.

In alignment with its mission, Omaha Bridges kicked off a groundbreaking partnership in January with the Omaha Correctional Center to launch “Getting Ahead While Getting Out”—a 15-week reentry program designed to support individuals transitioning from incarceration. This initiative takes a holistic, relationship-based approach, providing participants and their families with pre-release guidance and long-term community support to foster successful reintegration.

“Omaha Bridges remains committed to removing systemic barriers and creating pathways to success,” said Marcus Bell, CEO of Omaha Bridges. “By expanding our work into the reentry space, we are ensuring that individuals returning to the community have the tools, resources and support networks needed to build a stable future.”

Community members, stakeholders, and supporters are invited to attend the March 15 graduation to celebrate this important achievement.
