MICAH House to Stock Bare Pantry Shelves

Each day, MICAH House (themicahhouse.org) provides warm meals to dozens of individuals experiencing homelessness. Over the winter, their pantry shelves become bare and the current supply of canned fruit and vegetables is very low. This is why they are asking for the community’s help to stock their pantry!

In total, MICAH House served more than 26,000 meals to families and women in need last year. With each of these meals, MICAH House provides a fruit and vegetable option—an important part of a nutritious and well-balanced meal. On average, it takes 25 cans of fruit and vegetables to provide one meal at MICAH House.

MICAH House encourages you to organize a personal or company-wide donation drive and collect canned fruit, vegetables, and other goods to provide healthy options for homeless children, families, and women. You can also make a monetary donation on MICAH House’s website at themicahhouse.org/donate or shop the wish list on Amazon. Questions about donating or supporting MICAH House can be directed to Daylee Olson at dolson@themicahhouse.org.
