April marked National Volunteer Month, and MICAH House (themicahhouse.org) was proud to take part in Do Good Days as part of the celebration. It was a month filled with service, generosity and meaningful reflection on how volunteers help bring our mission to life.
As part of Do Good Days, MICAH House had the pleasure of welcoming volunteers from Markel for two impactful days of service. Two teams of Markel employees lent their time and talents by preparing meals, sorting donations and helping clean and organize spaces throughout the shelter. A third group created a special experience for the children at the Florence M. Lakin Child Development Center by organizing and leading a fun craft activity.
