Make Omaha Event to Take Place October 9 at Do Space

Mark your calendars! Do Space (www.dospace.org) is hosting Make Omaha on Saturday, October 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Make Omaha is a family-friendly innovation and technology showcase celebrating local tech-driven makers, inventors, and businesses who are using state-of-the-art tools in their work. This year’s group of Makers will come together under one roof to fuel community, networking, and excitement of Make Omaha. Some of this year’s Makers include Creighton Prep Robotics Club, Make Shift Lincoln, Omaha Maker Group, Haunted Leg Productions, Wolfson Art Studio, and many more!

The event was created for members of Omaha’s tech-maker community to come together in a safe, open space to demonstrate, facilitate, and share their work and talents with the public. Through Make Omaha, Do Space supports the creative and novel exploration of technology by powering a free platform to make, exhibit, and present the work of the future. This is Make Omaha’s 5th year of creating a positive impact among the STEM community in and around Omaha. Make Omaha 2021 is powered by Do Space in partnership with Metro Community College.

Do Space is a technology library providing free access to the latest software, devices, and ultra-fast internet to the Omaha community. The one-of-a-kind concept creates a digital workshop and an innovation playground filled with new opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and create through programs and events.
