Less than one year after opening its doors, Omaha nonprofit LiveWell DressWell (lwpg.net/livewell-dresswell) is making a measurable impact by helping remove one of the most significant barriers to employment: access to professional clothing. Founded by local business leaders and U.S. Army veteran Ali Crouch and Darla Anderson, alongside Director of Community Impact, Tara Crouch, LiveWell DressWell provides individuals facing financial hardship with six to eight complete interview and workplace outfits at no cost. Whether someone is entering an office, healthcare, skilled trades or another profession, the organization equips them with the confidence and professional appearance needed to pursue meaningful employment. The nonprofit’s success has been fueled by generous businesses, community organizations and volunteers who understand that workforce development extends beyond resumes and interviews.
To continue expanding its mission, including the development of a Mobile Boutique that will bring professional clothing directly to underserved communities, LiveWell DressWell will host its inaugural Masquerade Ball on Saturday, Oct. 10. The evening will feature entertainment, auctions, networking and opportunities for businesses and community members to directly support the organization’s growing impact.
