Inclusive Communities to Host Omaha Table Talk Main Event

Please save the date to join Inclusive Communities (www.inclusive-communities.org) for the 2019 Omaha Table Talk Main Event. This year’s Main Event will take place on Tuesday, May 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at various locations, serving as a kick-off to Omaha Gives! Inclusive Communities will be partnering with 12 local non-profits, each hosting a small group discussion around the subjects of race and identity, and how they impact the work they do and the people they serve. Each group discussion will be guided by a trained facilitator.

Omaha Table Talk is a program which ensures everyone has a seat at the table. The mission is to provide people from all communities a space to take part in an open and honest dialogue about race and how it affects views of ethnicity, class, and all forms of difference, while enjoying a complimentary meal.

Inclusive Communities envisions a society that is strengthened by diversity, inclusion, respect, and justice for all people.
