Greater Omaha SCORE will be conducting a new slate of workshops beginning in May. The workshops are designed to provide valuable information to entrepreneurs and small business owners.

On Thursday, May 7th, Tom Mohr, Certified Public Bookkeeper and SCORE volunteer will conduct a workshop on using QuickBooks in your small business.

On Thursday, June 4th, Meredith Bond from the U.S. Department of Commerce will be presenting a workshop on the things businesses need to know about importing and exporting.

On Thursday, July 2nd, Janell Ehrke, CEO of GROW Nebraska, will be presenting a workshop about GROW Nebraska. This organization’s mission is to create sustainable economic development by supporting Nebraska entrepreneurs and small businesses through promotion, market access and education.

On Thursday, August 6th, SCORE member Jack Wilhelmi will be presenting a workshop on how to prepare bids and pricing in the construction industry.

These workshops are great opportunities to hear the experts and learn from those who are out there doing it.
