After 17 years of working to restore dignity to youth in foster care, Foster Care Closet of Nebraska (fostercarecloset.org) has received permission to provide clothing in all 93 counties of Nebraska! Access to serve youth in foster care in Douglas and Sarpy counties has been limited for a long time and they are excited to have the opportunity to provide new clothing to youth in foster care all across the state.
Families who have welcomed a child into their home in the last 90 days are welcome to call Leigh Esau at (402) 803-1765 to make arrangements to receive five outfits, shoes, seven pairs of socks, seven pairs of underwear and a season appropriate jacket for FREE. Foster Care Closet only gives NEW clothes to youth in foster care and is focused on letting the youth have their voice heard about what kind of clothes they want to wear!
