The Altar and Rosary Society of St. Patrick Catholic Church is proud to host Sunday Dinner for a Cause on Sunday, October 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4 Valley View Dr., with all proceeds directly benefiting MICAH House (themicahhouse.org), a local nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter and support for families and women facing the crisis of homelessness.
This family-friendly event will feature a homemade dinner including salad, garlic bread, spaghetti with meat sauce and dessert. Meatless options will be available. Instead of tickets, guests are encouraged to contribute a free-will donation (cash or check preferred) to support the mission of MICAH House.
The evening will also include children’s activities, face painting and raffles, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
MICAH House has long been a cornerstone of support in the Council Bluffs and Omaha communities, offering not just shelter but also a path forward for women and families experiencing homelessness. The organization provides a safe, nurturing environment and essential services that help individuals regain stability and independence.
Sunday Dinner for a Cause is an opportunity for the community to come together over a shared meal and make a tangible impact in the lives of local families. Every donation received will help MICAH House continue providing life-changing services to those most in need.
