Child Saving Institute (CSI)(childsaving.org.) is proud to announce the completion of their new entrance and the expanded Youth Shelter and Behavioral Health Center. The entrance is moving from Dodge St. to Douglas St. and will be open to the public starting July 21. The full capital project will be completed later this year.
The Campaign for Hope has facilitated the growth of CSI’s essential services, allowing the organization to serve more individuals in need. The new Youth Shelter will add roust educational services, a physical activity space and allow for youth to have their own bedrooms – all of which are crucial to successful physical, emotional and mental health.
CSI’s goal is to expand to 16 mental health practitioners to provide care to 800 clients annually. Recently, CSI welcomed two new Behavioral Health therapists, Lisa Abbott and Jamie Smith. Their expertise and passion for helping youth will complement CSI’s dedicated team of professionals.
Child Saving Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services and support to all children and families in the community. With a mission to “Champion what’s best for each child and family,” CSI offers essential resources and programs, including Mental Health Services, Early Childhood Development, Critical Response Services and other family support programs.
