Save the date! Christmas Caravan 2015 will take place Thursday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. featuring three west Omaha homes decked out in holiday finery and a variety of related events to be held at Champions Run.

Celebrate the Season 2015 is the 41st Annual Christmas Caravan, which offers a tour of three private homes decorated for the holidays by local florists and boutiques.  This popular event benefits Assistance League® of Omaha’s philanthropic programs including Operation School Bell®, annually clothing over 3,500 needy Omaha-area students through a partnership with JCPenney’s Westroads location.

In addition to this service, Caravan proceeds also support other year-long programs such as Operation Bear Hug, Operation Teen Parent, ACT/PSAT Review Sessions, Assault Survivor Kits®, and Operation Recovery.

This year’s lovely homes have been beautifully enhanced by Andrea’s Designs of Elkhorn, Papillion Flower Patch, and The Potting Shed of Omaha. In conjunction with the tour, participants may enjoy an opportunity to purchase items from each home’s vendor.

A stop at Champions Run, 13800 Eagle Run Drive, will offer a lovely buffet luncheon ($13 dollar ticket at the door), bake sale, and more shopping provided by Assistance League’s Thrift Shop Boutique.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance for $15 from vendors, Assistance League Thrift Shop, HyVee Stores, and any Assistance League member. Tickets may also be purchased on the tour date for $20 at any of the homes.

A preview party will kick off this year’s Caravan on Wednesday evening (November 4th) with home tours from 4-6 p.m., followed by a no-host social time and silent auction from 6:00-7:30 and dinner that will take place at Champions Run. Tickets for this elegant event are $100 per person and all proceeds further benefit Assistance League® of Omaha’s philanthropic programs.
