Angels Among Us (AAU)(myangelsamongus.org) hosted An Evening Among Angels: Mostra L’amore on October 3 at A View West Shores. The annual gala brought together over 550 community advocates and supporters to mostra l’amore (show the love) to the pediatric cancer families living in or being treated in Nebraska. With Italian-inspired views, live music and a family dinner experience by Salted EDGE, this event was one to remember.
The night honored important individuals who have spent years showing unwavering support for AAU’s mission: FireSprint and the Jim & Shirley Young Family Foundation. These two organizations received the 2025 Angel Guardian Awards in honor of their commitment to the pediatric cancer families AAU serves.
Angels Among Us would like to thank this year’s honorary chairs, Wade & Christine Behlen and Brent & Erin O’Mara, for their long-time and intentional involvement. AAU is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support to any family whose child is battling pediatric cancer living in or being treated in the state of Nebraska. Since 2006, over 800 families have been supported with over $5.5 million in financial support.
