Educare of Omaha, Inc. (educareomaha.org) celebrated 187 preschool graduates from Educare Omaha at Kellom and Educare Omaha at Indian Hill in May. The children will transition to kindergarten this fall, carrying with them the confidence, curiosity and foundational skills developed through high-quality early childhood education.

As a nonprofit organization, Educare of Omaha, Inc. serves children and families who may not otherwise have access to high-quality early learning opportunities. By providing nurturing classrooms, skilled teachers, family support and research-informed education, Educare helps ensure children enter school on a more level playing field with their better-resourced peers.

Preschool graduation marks years of growth in classrooms designed to nurture the whole child. At Educare Omaha, children build early literacy and math skills, strengthen social-emotional development, practice problem-solving and learn how to follow routines, collaborate with peers and communicate their needs—all essential skills for kindergarten readiness.

“Our preschool graduates remind us what is possible when children have access to nurturing relationships, engaging classrooms, and strong family partnerships,” Executive Director Rafel O. Hart said. “We are proud of their growth and excited to see all they will accomplish in kindergarten and beyond.”
