Gather your colleagues and start training. The Omaha Marathon’s 5K Corporate Challenge is just around the corner.
The Corporate Challenge is a fun and competitive event that offers companies an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of their team, encourage employee wellness and show off their spirit. The event will be held during the Omaha Marathon’s 5K race on Sunday, September 20.
To enter, organizations need five or more team members. Then, during the Omaha Marathon’s 5K race, the top five fastest times per team will be used to calculate the results. Corporate Competition Awards will be presented to the top three fastest teams. Corporate Participation Awards will be presented to the top three companies with the most employees competing in the race. Finally, one company who demonstrates the most pride in their organization will be given the Corporate Spirit Award.

The Omaha Marathon, an Omaha tradition, will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. The race — Omaha’s official Boston Marathon qualifier — will start and end at TD Ameritrade Park, with the finish line inside the stadium.
