Hillcrest Country Estates’ new Rehab Cottage officially opened on July 20th and now offers the first “cottage-style”, exclusively post-acute rehabilitation center in the region. With 22 private suites, guests will stay an average of 20 days at the Rehab Cottage as they recover from an injury, illness, surgery or hospital stay.
Hillcrest (www.hillcresthealth.com) has been known for its post-acute, short-term rehabilitation services provided at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue.
With a focus on recovery and comfort, accommodations include private suites and bathrooms, sofa-sleepers for visitors in each suite, an outdoor gazebo and other private visiting areas. An on-site chef prepares made-to-order meals for guests, who can dine in the privacy of their suite or enjoy their meals in the Hearth Room, an inviting dining room featuring a 30-foot-high, stone fireplace. The Cyber Café offers an area to plug-in and stay connected while dining.
The state-of-the-art therapy gym is equipped with HUR exercise equipment, which uses air pressure rather than weights for resistance, leading to safer exercise. A ceiling-mounted track lift also provides added support and safety for guests during transfers and therapy.
