Alzheimer’s Association Welcomes Lisa Sypal as Regional Director of Development

The Alzheimer’s Association, Nebraska Chapter is excited to announce that Lisa Sypal has joined the team as Regional Director of Development. “Lisa is very talented and brings a wealth of knowledge in fundraising, management, business development, finance, accounting, and board relations” said Viv Ewing, Ph.D., Executive Director. This position will oversee all development and fundraising events, including the Alzheimer’s Association’s largest fundraiser, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Lisa comes to the Alzheimer’s Association from the American Cancer Society in Lincoln where she served as Senior Market Manager. Prior to that, she worked as the Regional Vice President of Development at the American Lung Association Plains-Gulf Region.

Lisa lives in Lincoln with her husband and daughter. She volunteers her time with various organizations through the Junior League of Lincoln and is also an active member of the Lincoln running community.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease. There are 15 Walks across the chapter in August, September and October. Learn more at www.alz.org/walk.
