Grant Epsom and Shannon McNeil Join Stephen Center Board of Directors
Stephen Center (stephencenter.org) is pleased to announce that two new directors have accepted terms on the Stephen Center Board. The new directors are Grant Epsom and Shannon McNeil.
Grant Epsom is senior vice president and corporate treasurer at American National Bank. An Omaha native, Grant currently resides in Elkhorn with his wife and one-year-old son. He enjoys running, drumming, and is an active volunteer with United Way of the Midlands. Shannon McNeil is vice president and risk consultant at Collaborative Planning Group. Shannon lives in Omaha with her husband P.J. McNeil, and their two young children. She is active in the community, with many years of experience in event fundraising for multiple nonprofits.
The number of Stephen Center board members remains 16, as Deb Vosika and Fr. John Pietramale are leaving the board, after serving six years and three years, respectively.
“Stephen Center is blessed with so many amazing leaders,” said Executive Director Michael Wehling. “Deb and Fr. Pietramale have contributed to our mission in so many ways, and Grant and Shannon are going to build on that momentum. Our organization is strong thanks to volunteers like them.”
Located in South Omaha, Stephen Center serves the homeless, addicted, and those in poverty. The campus includes a homeless emergency shelter, inpatient/outpatient co-occurring treatment, and permanent supportive housing for disabled and low-income individuals. In 2020, Stephen Center provided services to 1,278 men, women, and children and served over 200,000 meals to people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty.
