Cox Charities (www.coxcharitiescentral.org) awarded $33,000 to area schools in December through its Education Grant Program. Cox Charities education grants support programs and curricula that promote students’ academic success and enhance the educational experience. The Cox Charities program is fully funded and decided by local employees who are dedicated to making a positive impact in youth, education, social issues, and the arts.

Education grant recipients across ten school districts include Bellevue Public Schools – Academic Center of Excellence; Arlington High School; Bellevue East High School; Bennington Public Schools; Betz Elementary; Birchcrest Elementary; Bryan Elementary; DC West Elementary; Fort Crook Elementary; Gilder Elementary; Mary Our Queen Catholic School; Oakdale Elementary; One Oak School; Rockbrook Elementary; Sacred Heart School; Seymour Elementary; Sts. Peter & Paul School; and Thomas Jefferson High School.
