Heartland Hope Mission (heartlandhopemission.org) is excited to announce that construction is officially underway at their new property located at 15555 Industrial Rd. in Omaha.

The new West Omaha facility will become the main staff headquarters, warehouse, crisis response and outreach center and senior delivery ministry. It will become Heartland Hope Mission’s second permanent indoor client-choice food pantry and clothing center. Many families are struggling due to inflation, causing pantry numbers to rise 50% higher than normal. Your help is vital in responding to the great need in the community. You can help by scanning the QR code or donating to the capital campaign. Any gift made by May 31 will be doubled up to $75,000 thanks to generous donors James and Shirley Ortman and Tom and Dawn O’Brien. Donations can include cash, stock or QCD from an IRA. You are welcome to drop off in-kind donations, host a drive or sign up to volunteer by visiting heartlandhopemission.org.

Heartland Hope Mission is a faith-based organization that is more than a pantry and dedicated to helping families achieve self-sufficiency. They provide food along with clothing, diapers, job resources and community referrals to support families in need and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. They also offer case-management, senior pantry deliveries, rural outreach, crisis response, a Job Paths program and a holiday program that provides around 4,000 children with new toys at Christmas! In addition to Omaha, their outreach pantries serve Valley, Macy and Walthill. Visit HeartlandHopeMission.org to learn more.
