Waypoint Church will celebrate its Grand Opening on Sunday, September 13 at 10 a.m. and the public is invited to attend.
The church, which opened its doors in 2007 as a “mobile church,” is now permanently located in the heart of Midtown Omaha at 1313 North 48th Avenue.
“Our vision is to see cities and nations transformed by connecting people who have a passion for Jesus and His purposes, and by equipping and empowering them to go into every sphere of society to engage, love and have impact,” explained Lead Pastor Matthew Anderson.
While the church is strategically located in the heart of Midtown and focused to see the community transformed socially, economically, racially and spiritually, the church also has works in Edinburgh, Scotland; Catania, Sicily; and Chang Mai, Thailand, with plans to establish additional connections in 20 cities over the next 10 years.
