Brand Hero’s owner Lisa Janvrin was hired in January of 2014 for the interior design and branding of “The Pie Barn”, a new eatery at the locally owned, but regionally known Vala’s Pumpkin Patch.
Vala’s is celebrating its 30th anniversary of putting on the region’s most spectacular Fall Festival in Gretna, NE this year. People love the caramel apples, the hay rack rides, and the Pigtucky Derby Pig Races. And this Fall 2014 they’re gonna fall head over heels for pie baked fresh daily and served in a new onsite eatery, “The Pie Barn,” which officially opened on September 19th.
This is the first major project at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch that has been initiated and implemented by the next generation of Valas: Kirsten, Kyla and Kelsey. The impressive architectural feat with a rustic barn crowning a new post-and-beam structure offers a fresh environment like no other food establishment in the greater Omaha area. Like the pies, the interior design is fresh from scratch and served with a dollop of nostalgia, taking cues from life on the farm. The Pie Barn also offers the largest fresh baked and fresh served assortment of sweet and savory pies in the area. The Pie Barn will stay open through October 31st.
