The Omaha Bakery Expands and Relocates Flagship Bakery to Bellevue

The Omaha Bakery (theomahabakery.com) has announced plans to expand operations by relocating their original flagship bakery at 608 S 72nd St. to Wolf Creek Plaza at 15th and Cornhusker in Bellevue. Owner Michelle Kaiser, who recently opened a second location in Elkhorn, is excited to better serve her customers in this new space, which is double the square footage and has a beautiful outdoor patio with seating. With their KETO bakery line gaining in popularity, this move is much needed. Dave Barry, manager of operations, is looking forward to having more production space, more staff, more room for guests to sit and relax, more product to enjoy, and now with two locations, more opportunities to cover the needs of the greater Omaha Metro. Construction of the new space, which was previously a Panera Bread, is underway and The Omaha Bakery plans to finish construction in September.

Wolf Creek Plaza is one of the best performing retail centers in Bellevue, conveniently located off of Highway 75 and Cornhusker Road. Many other national retailers like Five Below, Ross, Dollar Tree, and Buffalo Wild Wings create that consistent traffic that any retailer wants. The Omaha Bakery will fill a void bringing in locally made baked goods drawing customers from Bellevue, Offutt Airforce Base, as well as the greater Omaha MSA. The new location in Bellevue will also serve as the point of dispatch for Omaha Bakery deliveries to its successful drop-off site in Lincoln’s Haymarket that began last summer.

The Omaha Bakery is a full-service bakery and tasting experience for every day and every occasion. To view the menu or inquire about other future expansions for the bakery, visit theomahabakery.com.
