Save the Date: Omaha Police Foundation 20th Annual Luncheon April 23, 2020

The 20th annual Omaha Police Foundation (OPF; OmahaPoliceFoundation.org) luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Scott Conference Center and will recognize the outstanding work of the women and men of the Omaha Police Department.

The OPF is pleased to announce Jay Noddle as the honorary chair of the 2020 Officer of the Year Awards Luncheon. They will present a variety of awards during the event including the Police Lifesaving Medal, Distinguished Service Medal, The Purple Heart, the Community Impact Award, and the Officer of the Year Award. In addition, the Foundation awards the annual Dr. Jack K. Lewis Memorial Scholarship to two full-time undergraduate students who are the children or grandchildren of a current or former sworn officer.

Founded in 1999, the Omaha Police Foundation provides financial support for the Omaha Police Department to ensure that officers have the training, equipment, and technology needed to prevent crime, save lives, and make Omaha a safer community. The Foundation is governed by a 17-member Board of Directors led by President D.C. Woody Bradford. The Chief of Police and the President of the Omaha Police Officers Association each serve as ex-officio members of the Board.
