This year Sarpy Chamber (sarpychamber.org) will once again be hosting their Economic Outlook event on Thursday, September 24 and will provide insights shaping the future of Sarpy County. The Chamber is a dynamic leader in advocacy for business and economic prosperity in Bellevue, Gretna, La Vista, Offutt, Papillion, and Springfield. They provide a host of programs and services designed to help businesses of all sizes.
The upcoming event consists of two parts. Networking with pastries and coffee will take place from 8:00-8:30 a.m. then from 8:30 10:30 a.m. Four organizations will present on a broad range of issues impacting the local economy. During this time the Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) will share what’s ahead for regional planning and development, Catalyst Public affairs will give a look ahead at the 2027 Nebraska Legislature, Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) will share current initiative and future energy projects, and the Sarpy Chamber will outline their strategic plan update and priorities for the future.
The event will take place Thursday, September 24 at the Beardmore Event Center located at 3750 Raynor Parkway in Bellevue.
