The Veterans in Business Forum, in partnership with Creighton University, are proud to announce their upcoming initiative Salute Our Military Community. This is an event to recognize and honor our military community, and will be held at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha on May 17th with ceremonies beginning 6:45 p.m.
This event will feature the Creighton University vs. Missouri State baseball game, which begins at 7:05 p.m., but will offer a wealth of other activities including the Lincoln Sport Parachute Club members’ sky diving and a fly-over, Honor and Remember Flag presentations for Families of the Fallen, a presentation by the Strategic Air Command Elite Color Guard, tributes and patriotic videos throughout the event, and a post-game fireworks display featuring vocals by Jimmy Weber. The Creighton baseball team will be wearing special fatigue uniforms and U.S. flags will be given to the first 10,000 people through the gate.
Before the game, a dinner will be held bringing together Families of the Fallen from Nebraska and Iowa. Their committee, including the Veterans in Business Forum members, will be raising funds to provide this dinner and you can donate by mail or online.
