Ribbon Cutting Held at Modern Work Suites & Studios, Upcoming Events Announced

Modern Work Suites & Studios (modernworksuites.com) was thrilled to celebrate its growing presence in Omaha with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 12, which was conducted in partnership with the Greater Omaha Chamber. Cutting the ribbon was Founder Curt Brannon, who purchased the former Pamida headquarters at 88th and F Streets to house operations for his furniture manufacturing company, Sympateco. Curt, an inspired, forward-thinker, tasked himself with putting the 50,000 square feet of unused space on the building’s top floor to good use. The result: Modern Work Suites & Studios, a 60s-themed business community unlike anything else in Omaha.

Since welcoming its first tenant in early 2018, Modern Work has established itself as the ideal business ecosystem for a wide variety of industries. Many entrepreneurs and organizations have found an innovative private office space in one of the 46 single studios, 18 double studios, nine triple studios, and nine suites that make up Modern Work.

Modern Work is committed to offering an environment of collaboration and built-in networking opportunities. This is accomplished by partnering with organizations to host networking events, along with putting on a monthly Networking Mixxer open to all professionals in Omaha. This month, in lou of the usual Mixxer, Modern Work will host the Center Sphere Coffee and Connections on Thursday, October 10, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The next Networking Mixxer in Modern Work’s 60s-style “mixx lounge” will be on Thursday, November 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy free drinks and are encouraged to bring lots of business cards!
