Omaha’s Newest Chick-fil-A Restaurant Now Open

Local franchise owner Ed Douan opened Omaha’s newest stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurant on February 18, bringing 85 new jobs, a chance for 100 adults to win free Chick-fil-A meals for a year and the opportunity for the local community to donate books for Boys Town Nebraska.

Featuring the chain’s newest Heritage interior and kitchen design, the new Omaha location can seat 150 with additional outdoor patio seating. Customers will be able to stay connected through the restaurant’s free Wi-Fi and parents will appreciate the indoor play area which includes an interactive section for toddlers. As the majority of Chick-fil-A customers choose to drive thru, the restaurant also offers dual drive-thru ordering lanes. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., serving a full breakfast menu until 10:30 a.m. Like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will be closed on Sunday.

The new Dodge Plaza Chick-fil-A location at 12310 W. Dodge Road is the fifth stand-alone restaurant to open in Nebraska, joining three others in the metro-Omaha area — Bellevue, Legacy Village and Papillion – and another in Lincoln.  The Mutual of Omaha Chick-fil-A licensee location was the first to open in Nebraska in September 2002.  Two additional Omaha stand-alone restaurants are scheduled to open this fall.   Find Chick-fil-A at Dodge Plaza on Facebook for more information on the new location.
