The second annual Nebraska Brew, Vine and Spirits Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the green space in Omaha’s Capitol District at 10th and Capitol Ave.

According to event organizer Jesse Roberts of Magic City Gear, the event will showcase Nebraska’s ever-growing adult beverage industry by featuring the products of Nebraska wineries, breweries and distilleries. Participants will be able to purchase tickets to taste any of the beverages being showcased by the vendors. A variety of musical groups will entertain the tasters throughout the afternoon and evening.  Food and soft drinks will be available for purchase from 9th Street Tavern and Grill, Streetside Foods and Uncle Earnie’s Barbecue.

Major sponsors for the event are 9th Street Tavern and Grill, The Capitol District and Performance Auto Group. Wineries at the event will include Nissen Winery, which will introduce their Old Market Wine, Superior Estates, Mac’s Creek Winery and James Arthur Vineyards, and others.
