Motion41 Dance is excited to announce that they will be hosting an Open House to kick off the new 2014-15 season of classes and performances! The Open House will be held on August 19th from 5-8 p.m., located at 2819 S. 125th Ave #256 in Omaha. This event will feature tours of all five professional dance studios, Meet & Greets with the directors and faculty, an overview of the various classes and programs, and the opportunity to register for fall classes which are set to begin on Wednesday, September 3rd.
Motion41 is Omaha’s premier center for dance education, including an exceptional faculty with over 150 years combined experience in professional dance or dance in higher education. They offer jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, and creative movement classes with a noted strength in ballet training. Ballet Nebraska, the state’s professional ballet company, is in residence at Motion41. Classes are offered for students age 3 and up, and Motion41 features an Adult Division for dancers over age 18 with classes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and more. This year’s performance opportunities include the Repertory Ensemble and Jr. Repertory Ensemble community troupes, the Dance Force dance team, and a production of “Cinderella” this spring.
