The Millard Business Association is pleased to present the 2nd annual Ribstock BBQ Festival, which will be held on June 27-28 in the north parking lot of Super Saver, located at 5710 S. 144th Street in Millard. This event will benefit the Millard Business Association, MBA Scholarship Fund and Project Wee Care, which provides meals, clothing and essentials to help local families in need. Over $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded across three divisions: the Professional Division, Amateur Division and People’s Choice. As a special highlight, Amateur Judges will include Dave Webber and Rusty Lord of WOWT Channel 6 and Husker greats Joel Makovicka, Johnny Rodgers, Calvin Jones and Gordon Thiesen. The event will also feature a beer garden, vendor booths, kid’s zone and live entertainment, including music from Rough Cut, the Bellino Fireworks display on June 27 and music from blues and rock bands and gymnastic team performances on June 28. Tickets are available for purchase at Super Saver and admission will be $12 for a 2 day pass, $10 in advance (only tickets purchased in advance will also include a $3 coupon for food and beverages and entry into all drawings), or free for kids under 12.
