The Millard Business Association (MBA, www.MillardBusinessAssociation.org) along with the Millard Business Community Foundation are working to provide students in need attending Millard Public Schools a special holiday season. The event Project Wee Care has been sponsoring families for the last 20 years. You can help by donating your time, sponsoring a family or financially donating to the cause. Mark your calendars for these important dates.

December 2-5: Project Wee Care North Pole (Waters Edge Church, 19600 Harrison St.) Setup, Gift Intake, Decorating and Gift Wrapping. During this time, volunteers will turn the North Pole into a winter wonderland. Activities include moving tables, decorating the North Pole, checking in gifts from sponsors that purchased gifts for families, wrapping gifts and preparing for the December 9 Family Event Day.

December 9: Project Wee Care Distribution Day. Project Wee Care will help 300 plus families this year.  They will leave with food, gifts for all, diapers and basic family needs. 50 to 60 volunteers are needed for each of the three shifts between 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Contact Richard Hovorka for more information at hovorka.projectweecare@gmail.com.
