LifeLoop Wins SBA Nebraska’s InnovateHER Award

LifeLoop, LLC, a lifestyle management and resident engagement application for senior living communities that connects families, residents and staff, was selected as the winner of the Nebraska InnovateHER Challenge. Next LifeLoop will have a chance at the national SBA competition in 2016 and at $70,000 in grants and other assistance. The InnovateHER: 2016 Innovating for Women Business Challenge aims to find innovative products and services that help impact and empower the lives of women and families.

The Center for Rural Affairs REAP Women’s Business Center hosted the local InnovateHER competition on November 6 in Lincoln. As the winner chosen from Nebraska, LifeLoop’s business plan and information will be forwarded on to national SBA. There, they will choose 10 finalists from all of the national competitions, over 200 local winners. LifeLoop will find out if they were selected by the National SBA as one of the 10 finalists this month. The startup team would be offered the opportunity to go to Washington, DC to compete nationally in March.

Founded in 2015, LifeLoop has quickly grown to provide service to dozens of communities across the US. It’s based in Omaha and belongs to a cohort of startup companies in The Garage By Aviture, a space dedicated to building the entrepreneurial community of Nebraska.
