iSkateOmaha opened its doors for business on Saturday, May 31st in Rockbrook Village® with a mission to promote and encourage ice skating in Omaha and the surrounding community.
Owned by Paula Turpen, the new business will feature ice skating outfits, skates and sources for ice skating training. iSkateOmaha will sell boots and blades, clothing for competition, test and practice, skating accessories, novelties and gifts as well as information about community skating events and the sport in general.  Turpen discovered a genuine need for ice skating products and services after a local shop closed its doors in 2012, leaving ice skating athletes, enthusiasts and public skaters to seek out-of-state resources.

iSkateOmaha believes in its motto “you can too!” and looks forward to sharing the world of ice skating with Omaha and the surrounding community.“iSkateOmaha will serve as a local resource for ice skating,” says Turpen, “by meeting the immediate needs of the community through equipment, supplies, services, as well as information about the sport and ice skating events like competitions and shows.”

iSkateOmaha has a soft opening on Saturday, May 31st and is located in Rockbrook Village® off of 108th & Center. iSkateOmaha will also hold a grand opening later this summer.  For more information about iSkateOmaha please contact Paula Turpen at (402) 740-9317 or paula@iskateomaha.com or visit www.iskateomaha.com.
