As a resource partner to the U.S. Small Business Administration, Greater Omaha SCORE (https://omaha.score.org is seeking out partnership opportunities in the Greater Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Recently the organization reported partnering with the Start Center in North Omaha, and a new partnership is being formed with the Bellevue Professional Center. The program is the “Dream Team” and the purpose is to empower women through educational workshops, support groups and mentorship to make the dream of business ownership come true. Every fourth Saturday of each month, programs are presented in Old Towne Bellevue at 2009 Franklin Street. SCORE Marketing Team member B.C. Clark is leading the SCORE effort and is on site Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to provide mentoring and support. SCORE mentors are also presenting workshops in the Saturday Sessions and most recently SCORE member Mike Bitter presented a workshop entitled “Jump Starting Your Business Through Social Media.

The Greater Omaha SCORE mission is to foster a vibrant small business community through mentoring, education, small business advocacy, and building working partnerships with small business support organizations.  Greater Omaha SCORE is always seeking volunteers to help grow and expand its support, and are here to help all entrepreneurs and small business owners.
