THRIVE, the Greater Omaha Chamber’s free professional business assistance program, held its first graduation ceremony, a celebration of nine local businesses that refuse to be anything but successful – and are now poised to take their operations to the next level.

Over the last year, 11 representatives from the participating companies worked one-on-one with THRIVE teams of volunteer business experts, each with their own field of expertise. Together, they determined areas of potential growth and improvement for the companies and formed plans of action.

THRIVE is a short term, high impact program. Over a four month period, participating businesses consult with 3-4 different experts in the areas of operations, strategic planning, marketing, and finances. The THRIVE volunteers provide an assessment of each company’s current situation and make recommendations based on their areas of expertise, all with the goal of catalyzing future growth.

The members of THRIVE’s first graduating class are: Dave Kerber, Agape Red; Patricia Barron, Big Mama’s Kitchen & Catering; Gladys Harrison, Big Mama’s Kitchen & Catering; Shawn Williams, Bounce U; Andrew Boehm, Elevated SEO; John Marburger, Humboldt Manufacturing; Michel Thornhill, Little Mountain Web Design; RJ Coyle, RJ TechSources; Sherman P Willis, Sherman P Willis Insurance Agency; Daniel Lawse, Verdis Group LLC; Craig Moody, Verdis Group LLC.
