The Greater Omaha Chamber (omahachamber.org) and nonprofit AI provider Scott Data have formed a strategic partnership to make Omaha a leading hub for AI innovation. The collaboration will support local businesses, especially small, mid-sized, and startups, through AI education, technical guidance, and affordable access to advanced computing, reinforcing the Chamber’s mission to drive Omaha’s growth.
“This partnership is a bold step forward in making Omaha the premier destination in the Midwest, and the country, for AI innovation and adoption,” said Heath Mello, President & CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber.
The initiative unites the Chamber’s economic leadership with Scott Data’s AI-ready infrastructure. Based in Omaha’s Aksarben neighborhood, Scott Data’s 110,000-square-foot Tier III data center now features high-speed AI processors available through a cost-effective colocation model, lowering barriers for businesses to adopt AI.
“We believe the Greater Omaha area has an unfair advantage in the race for AI adoption,” said Ken Moreano, President & CEO of Scott Data. “With the infrastructure, expertise, and partnerships we’ve built, Omaha is uniquely equipped to help companies start and scale their AI journey.”
Scott Data’s SEEKER platform and AI incubator will help businesses explore and adopt AI, while the Chamber will include AI readiness in its business consultations. Members will also benefit from discounted services and expert support.
“AI computing already is starting to be so important to businesses that it might be considered a basic utility. Just as the chamber touts Omaha’s electric power capacity when recruiting new businesses to the area, the city’s impressive AI assets can serve as a similar draw. We’ve got a partner in Scott Data that not only has the expertise and the infrastructure, but a willingness to lend that for the benefit of the Omaha community,” said Alec Gorynski, Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Greater Omaha Chamber.
