Great Plains Communications Completes Acquisition of Pinpoint Network Services and Pinpoint Broadband Business Units

Great Plains Communications (www.gpcom.com), the largest privately owned Nebraska telecommunications company, is pleased to announce the completion of their acquisition of Pinpoint Network Solutions and the Pinpoint Broadband business units of its regional fiber company, Pinpoint Holdings.

The Pinpoint acquisition adds 1,200 fiber miles including 135 additional miles in the greater Omaha Metro to the current 6,000-plus mile Great Plains Communications fiber optic network that encompasses the state of Nebraska, extending into Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

The acquisition was announced in December and was officially completed on February 11, 2016. Clients have been notified of the acquisition completion by Great Plains Communications and meetings with these companies are underway.
