The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration (CBA) is honored to announce that they recently dedicated the Ted M. Seldin Commons in Mammel Hall.  The area is prominently located on the main level and frequently used by students as a place to study and gather.  The name recognizes Seldin’s generous support of the UNO’s Real Estate and Asset Management Program, including a recent gift to the University of Nebraska Foundation and a future gift planned through his estate.  Seldin currently serves as chairman of the Omaha-based Seldin Company, the firm his father started in the 1920’s.  He has been active in many civic and housing related activities on both a local and national level with the Greater Omaha Housing Community Development Corporation, the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, and the Omaha Community Foundation, Metropolitan Omaha Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders.

Seldin Company is a diversified, full-service real estate firm based in Omaha.  Founded in 1923, Seldin manages more than 10,000 apartment units and 3.3 million square feet of retail and office space.  The company offers property management, brokerage and development services and operates in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota and Texas.  For more information about Seldin Company, please call (402) 333-7373 or visit www.Seldin.com.
