Get Out: Omaha is Old Market’s Newest Addition

Get Out: Omaha (getoutomaha.com), the newest escape room experience in Omaha, hosted its Grand Opening August 4-6. A ribbon cutting with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce kicked off the festivities on Friday afternoon, and then the doors officially opened to the public!

The goal of Get Out is simple: you and your friends/family/coworkers have 60 minutes to get out of a live-action escape room. Crack the codes, use your gut, and solve the riddles to escape the room in time! Focused on ‘shared experiences’, escape rooms are perfect entertainment for friends and family, corporate teams, and game aficionados. Along with being an exciting, new entertainment option, escape rooms are one of the best team building platforms available.

Get Out: Omaha offered two escape rooms to choose from during the grand opening weekend, with plans to add three more experiences in the coming weeks. The first rooms are Y2K and Room 13.

Y2K Theme: Your New Year’s Eve party is going to come to a sudden end when the Y2K bug takes down computer networks around the world…unless you can reset the system before the clock strikes midnight

Room 13 Theme: You have no recollection of checking in. Mysteriously, you can’t leave. As panic sets in, the hotel’s cozy façade begins to crumble, and the sinister motive lurking behind your imprisonment is unmasked. Embedded in the cracks between past and present, voices guide you to freedom.

Online bookings at are preferred, but walk-ins are also welcome! Find out more at getoutomaha.com.
