Fuel Fit Kitchen to Open Midtown Location

Midtown Crossing is proud to welcome another fast-growing “local star” to the neighborhood – Fuel Fit Kitchen (www.fuelfitkitchen.com). The midtown store, set to open mid-summer 2016, will specialize in the kind of fare Fuel Fit Kitchen fans have come to expect: healthy, affordable meals, pre-portioned and prepared for convenience. Customers will have their choice of more than 70 breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack options, including a “picky eaters” line for children – made fresh daily, never frozen.

Two brothers – Edward and Alexander Lomeli – launched Fuel Fit Kitchen in 2014, partnering with Johnny Torres, assistant soccer coach at Creighton University, and restaurant owners from Texas, Eduardo and Luis Marquez, to make Fuel Fit Kitchen a reality in Omaha, NE. They initially sold their food at local gyms before demand sparked the need for a physical location. The Midtown Crossing store at 3201 Farnam Street #6109 will complement Fuel Fit Kitchen’s original kitchen and retail space in a northwest Omaha strip mall.
Fuel Fit Kitchen currently prepares 15,000 convenient, grab-and-go meals weekly – from chicken parmesan and chicken enchiladas to mango tilapia and flat iron steak. Every meal is labeled with the macronutrients (calories, fats, carbs and protein), heating instructions and a best buy date. Fuel Fit Kitchen also offers catering options.
